Entry Requirements for National Certificate

5 ‘O’ level subjects including Maths and English for all courses.
Accounting and geography are an added advantage for Tourism and hospitality management.



DURATION: 1 YEAR
Description: A qualifying learner at this level will be a well groomed hospitality and tourism personnel, building on foundation technical skills acquired at NC level in Tourism and Hospitality management. It instills learners on overall hotel operations skills. It aims to enhance readiness for further studies in tourism and hospitality and related fields at a higher level, as well as providing for initial employment in the tourism and hospitality industry.

Entry Requirements for National Diploma

National Certificate in Tourism and Hospitality Management


DURATION: 3 YEARS
Description: Students will be taught to effectively solve business related problems, and will be trained extensively in areas such as management, housekeeping supervision, front office supervision, food and beverage management and tourism and travel. Thus program is designed to provide both theory and practice of catering studies, food and beverage supervision and Rooms Division management. The Practical aspect is instilled as ongoing continuous assessment during training at college as well and in real work places. This will provide students with an opportunity to experience real work situations.

DURATION: 1 YEAR
Description: This program will provide a learner with a range of skills in technological and management context. It is highly relevant to a range of careers in the Hospitality and Tourism sector such as Front office supervisors, Executive Housekeepers, Food and Beverage managers, Chief Hosts/ Hostesses and Functions managers. This qualification is designed to equip students with knowledge, Understanding and creativity and innovativeness skills required for success in current future employment in the hospitality and tourism sector. On completion of the course, learners would be expected to reach a level of competency equivalent to that of a 3 year Tourism and hospitality graduate program.
